The work of a long-time collector of 1993 Finest Refractors was stolen on February 17, 2026 near Chicago. This collector, known to many who buy and sell ’93 Refractors, had assembled almost an entirely AUTOGRAPHED set of these cards before it was taken from his home. He has put out an alert via this eBay listing and included pictures of several of the missing cards.
With each card being uniquely identifiable by the presence of signatures and the extreme rarity of coming across any autographed refractor, they should be able to be quickly identified if offered for sale. The cards were stolen in Northbrook, and as these cards are legally radioactive and easily identifiable, I would bet someone of interest in this case will make an appearance at the upcoming Chicago National Card Collectors Convention. If you are offered any of these cards, alert security and send a message to lagrangeicon so he can get you in contact with the proper authorities to solve the case. Maybe you can get a picture of whoever is offering the cards or obtain their contact information.
